Buddy Loves Bumbo

Derek had his 4 month check up yesterday. He is a healthy little boy at 15 lbs. 6 oz. and 25" long. It was time for another round of vaccinations (ugh--I still don't feel right about giving 4 month olds live viruses.....). He barely even whimpered. What a brave little boy!

He did so well that Mommy had to stop at Babies R Us and get him a surprise for being such a brave boy. He got a Bumbo!

Welcome Home Daddy!

Ryan was away for business for a few days this week. Derek did a great job of being man of the house while his Daddy was gone, although we both missed him lots. I'm not sure if Ryan missed Derek more or vice versa, but it sure was a sweet reunion. :) I love my boys.

Tommy

Derek had visitors last weekend -- Aunt Rita and Lee Ann. He was so excited to see them and enjoyed being the center of attention. They brought him his first Tommy Hilfiger T-shirt (so adorable), and boy is he looking forward to sporting it around the ladies this spring and summer.

Lazy Saturday

We are loving our new home and we're feeling comfortable here already. We had a lazy start to our Saturday playing with Derek and sipping on coffee. It was so much fun.

Banta Visit

On our way to Bloomington to visit Caldwell's, we were able to stop to visit Derek's Grandma Deb and Grandpa Gary, Granny, Unc, and Uncle Jason. Here Derek is pictured with his Uncle Jason and his Great Granny.

Welcome Isaac!

Derek met his new BFF the other day -- Isaac! What a precious little boy! Congratulations to Daren and Angela on the arrival of their brand new son. It was so great to visit with them, and it was kind of weird to realize we have kids now. Daren and Angela live in Bloomington, so we are looking foward to taking our boys to IU ball games in the near future. :)

Grandma Deb & Grandpa Gary

Derek got a visit from his Grandma Deb and Grandpa Gary Sunday. They made the two and a half hour drive up, and we were able to spend all day with them. We had such a nice day!
