Derek had his 4 month check up yesterday. He is a healthy little boy at 15 lbs. 6 oz. and 25" long. It was time for another round of vaccinations (ugh--I still don't feel right about giving 4 month olds live viruses.....). He barely even whimpered. What a brave little boy!
He did so well that Mommy had to stop at Babies R Us and get him a surprise for being such a brave boy. He got a Bumbo!

I've never heard of a bumbo but it sure looks like it would give your arms a break sometimes too. He looks so cute sitting there.

Don't you love when you find random reasons to get a gift... as if the little guys even know that they're getting something new! :) I hate vaccinations too... such a tug on my conscience!
Derek looks so cute... I love the look on his face! Isaac has been practicing trying to hold his up and after seeing Derek's sitting up skills he can't wait to catch up so they can Bumbo together someday.
